More Than a Moving Company. A Family, A Promise, and a Name With Meaning.

Hi, I’m Josh, owner of Noble Moving. Alongside my wife and business partner, Erin, we’re proud to be building the kind of moving company we always believed should exist.


We’re a family-owned business, a little different from the big moving companies. At home, we’re a family of six—Erin, me, our four daughters, and our dog. Family means everything to us, and that’s a big part of how we approach our business. When you invite us into your home, we want you to feel like you’re dealing with real people who genuinely care about taking care of you and your belongings.

Where Noble Moving Began

Before I owned a moving company, I was a mover.

I spent years working in the moving industry and learned the business from the ground up. More than 12 years ago, I decided to take a chance on myself and start my own company.


The reason I took that leap is deeply personal.


My younger brother, Steven, who everyone called “Noble,” was my best friend and my partner in life long before Noble Moving existed. We used to move people together, and he always talked about the two of us starting our own moving company someday.

I was scared. I wasn’t sure I was ready, and I didn’t have the confidence to take that chance.


Then I lost Steven in a car accident.


Losing him changed the way I looked at life. I made a promise to myself that I would do what we had always talked about doing. I would start our own company.


At the time, my family and I were young, and I knew I had a growing family to provide for. I took the chance, educated myself about the business side of the industry, and started building Noble Moving one step at a time.

And that’s where the name comes from.


Noble Moving is named after my brother Steven, because the dream we once talked about together became the company I built in his memory..

Why We Do Things Differently

Over the years, I also worked for moving company owners who didn’t always do business the way I believed it should be done. I saw things that didn’t sit right with me, and I knew there had to be a better way.


So when I built Noble Moving, I wanted honesty to be one of the foundations of the company.


We’re not here to sell you things you don’t need or make your move more complicated than it has to be. We’re here to show up, work hard, communicate clearly, and take care of your belongings like they’re our own.


Today, Erin and I run Noble Moving together, and we’re committed to building an honest, dependable moving company that our family can be proud of and our community can trust.


We’re still a small company. And honestly, we like it that way.


It allows us to stay personal, stay involved, and make sure our customers aren’t just another job on the schedule.
